This episode of Beyond the Budget takes a closer look at how Business Services supports the day-to-day operations that keep schools running smoothly across Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115. Dr. Jennifer Hermes, Chief Operating Officer, is joined by Whitney Draegert, Director of Business Operations, and Dan Mortensen, Director of Facilities, to highlight the essential systems and services behind the scenes. Together, they illustrate how Business Services supports students, staff, and families by managing the many moving parts of school operations, ensuring that learning remains the central focus.

This summer, the LFHS Athletic Department will offer a robust selection of sports camps for incoming 4th–12th grade students! These offerings vary, but feature over 20 sports, and are available throughout June and July.

On Monday, March 16, the D67 Board of Education spotlighted art students at Deer Path Middle School. They each shared a piece they had worked on and explained what details influenced their artistic decisions. We're so proud to have such talented students in our schools! Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115 are excited to announce the latest episode of Beyond the Budget, the informative video series that provides the community with an inside look at how public funds are managed to support students and schools. The newest episode, now available on the district website, focuses on the tax levy—the formal request for property tax revenue that funds school operations for the coming year.

District 67 students spent a week immersed in creativity and storytelling through the Visiting Author program, co-sponsored by the Spirit of 67 Foundation and the District 67 Association of Parents and Teachers (APT).
